Preamble
Central Conservatory of Music is the only national key high art college in China, it is an institution of higher learning which trains the music specialized personnel.
Though founded in 1950, the history of the Conservatory can be dated over half a century ago, for one of its forerunners, the Music Department of the Yenching University, was organized back in 1927, the others being the Music Department of the Literature and Art School of the North China University (1939), the National Academy of Music (1940), the Music Department of the National Peiping School of Arts (1946), the Chung Hwa Academy of Music (Hong Kong and Shanghai 1946), and the Music Department of the Northwest Lu Hsun institute of Literature and Art.(1948) . The Conservatory was pointed as the national key institution of higher education in 1960; awarded the titles of honor of systematic advanced groups of national culture by Ministry of Culture in 1991; listed in " 211 projects " in 1999. Successive presidents were: Ma Sicong , Zhao Feng , Wu Zuqiang , Yu RunYang , Liu Lin; Wang Cizhao is the present president.
Since its founding, the Central Conservatory of Music has become the national music education center, it is the research center of the national music, the modes of running a school of creation and exhibition center. It can be on behalf of complete music institution of higher learning with high prestige of the level of education of specialized music of our country. The synthesis index of conservatory occupies No.1 place on the charts for Chinese Art University. (2004 networks of big Chinese art universities and colleges' billboards).
For many years, the conservatory has trained lots of music talents and foreign students of various countries; most of graduates have already become the backbones of theatre troupes, art colleges, and research institution in all parts of the country. Some entered the famous musician's ranks of our country, enjoyed great prestige domestic and internationally. Conservatory teachers and students obtain awards over thousands of times of the competitions around the world, gained over one hundred prizes for great achievements and researches.
Central Conservatory of Music will welcome in its 55th anniversary in 2005.“Monthly activity of celebration” of the 55th anniversary will be held from September 20th to October 30th, 2005.
Central Conservatory of Music will show its own educational achievements to the whole country, even to the world in the monthly activity of celebration, inviting the domestic and overseas schoolfellows and well-known figures to participate in serial performances and professional lectures, holding relevant academic activity on social music education actively, to develop the social music education and popularize the music among the Chinese people.

First, tenet of contribution to develop educational cause
Tenet of < “55th anniversary of Central Conservatory of Music ” donation to develop educational cause>:
1) Following the theme idea " creating, inclusiveness, passing on, pioneer " of the conservatory and celebrate, promoting the domestic and international image of Central Conservatory of Music and good brand reputation;
2) Providing showing, cooperative platform for schoolfellows, art troupe / unit, fraternal universities and colleges, promoting the development of Chinese music education together, strengthen the campus culture of serving the society;
3) Offering the unique marketing platform to Chinese and foreign donor, encouraging the donor to participate in extensively, improving donor's image and brand;

5. According to situation of donating, main building of the conservatory, such as the library, practicing building, concert hall, office building, music hall, reading room, meeting room, multimedia classroom, lecture-theatre, classroom, musical instrument room and large-scale musical instrument, garden, sculpture in the school, etc., or inscription commemorate would be named by donors or according to their wills.
6. Setting up the bonus or teaching, scientific research, publishes, the cultural activity fund named after donor or respected donors’ will.
7. When having special demand, donor can adopt a way of consulting with Central Conservatory of Music to confirm by each other;
8. Central Conservatory of Music will express thanks and do soft propaganda to the donor through all kinds of media and activities.
9. According to different values of donations to< " the 55th anniversary of Central Conservatory of Music " donation to develop educational cause> “, cooperative partner, specific products trader and sponsor enjoy different repayment for rights and interests (see enclosure " the donor participate in the scheme “) by sponsor.
Fourth, steps of donating:

Five, other explanation:
Each classification has established the price benchmark for donating. In the same classification, the price benchmarks of different trades will be different to some extent, in order to reflect the difference between the trades. The concrete price will be explained to the potential donor in the course of consulting.
